Same as us, life just wants to be accepted. When I reflect on my biggest frustrations, I can easily pinpoint the cause of every one of them. For example, traffic makes driving to work a living hell. Office politics makes it harder to do my job. And my long list of dietary restrictions make it impossible to enjoy a good meal.

But if I’m truly being honest with myself, none of those are really to blame for my frustrations. Instead, it’s my belief that things should be different. I don’t want to accept traffic. I don’t want to accept office nonsense. And I don’t want to accept my diet. That’s the real reason I’m frustrated.

If I were to accept life for what it is, I’m sure I’d have a smoother experience. Of course, that’s easier said than done.

@Neverlesser When you can accept things even if you don’t like them, then you can start to make changes for the better. And if you’re current diet sucks, I’m more than willing to help you out with that
