"How might we..." That's how the best questions begin. "How" gets us thinking. "Might" tells us it's possible. And "we" gets everyone involved. It's known as the HMW method, and I learned it from the book A More Beautiful Question, which explores the power of framing a question in such a way that sparks new ideas.

Whenever I get into an argument, my girlfriend and I usually end with a question framed in this way. For example, we ask "How might we approach this differently in the future?" It definitely helps us better understand each other.
