Ended a long distance relationship when I realized sexting was bringing more pleasure than real sex I once had a long distance relationship and only got to see my partner once every three or four months. In between, we used our phones to help keep the flame alive. We texted frequently, and for the purpose of this post, I’ll describe our messages as super hot ;) He was a master at explicitly describing good sex.

The problem was that after a year, and after four attempts to translate our messages into real action, he failed each one of them. I am not implying here that couples should break-up over bad sex, but for me, it’s a very important part of a relationship. Hope you guys out there are having a better sexting experience.

Chill beyond belief
@TresJolie The sex must’ve been pretty bad if texting was better!

Nonconformist call it as it is
@Redmythic It was more a matter of expectations.

I'm new here
@TresJolie I know what you mean—that’ll do it sometimes. Once I was sexting a guy and then when we met up in real life, I thought he had an alter ego or something. It was so different, he was even so different than what he’d described. Some people really know how to talk the talk, but they just can’t walk the walk, if you know what I mean.

@TresJolie Which came first, the bad sex or the sexting?

@brettlechnar Sexting came first. We started our phone conversations after a few weeks of chatting online. Then the sexting came. He had this mix of romance and very explicit sexual language that made it difficult for me to match to his real life persona. Two totally different people. I couldn’t overcome the difference.
