Writing evolves, and cursive has outlived its purpose. What was once a convenient way of speeding up your writing, cursive has now been replaced by a far more convenient form of communication––typing. Typing is faster, more legible and easier to learn. Yet, some insist on continuing the teaching of cursive in schools. It's almost like teaching kids to churn their own butter.

@Macdaddy I don't want to see it die out. It's like an art form. It's a beautiful thing to receive a thoughtfully written letter in cursive.
