Dinner parties break down social barriers. Something special happens at the dinner table. When you're surrounded by food and friends, your mood lightens and your mind opens.

A good dinner party brings people together, develops stronger connections, and creates a mutual sense of understanding and appreciation. That's why I never pass up the opportunity to break bread with others.

@Jordan Having a dinner party tonight actually! I agree, people show a much brighter side of themselves when there’s food (and wine) at the table. But, I never have a dinner party without a few set rules: no more than 2 glasses of wine, no talking about work, and a firm 9pm cutoff time. This keeps the mood light and ensures guests don’t have to hit the road too late at night.
